Janny Xiaoqin Huang: Chinese Brush Painting

View Original

Welcome to our website

Welcome to JannyHuang.com! Janny Xiaoqin Huang has loved and studied the ancient traditions of Chinese brush painting from a very young age, and has worked her entire adult life to share the beauty of this art form with her students and patrons. Through decades of teaching at her school in Northern California with her husband, artist Joseph Yan, Huang has continued to paint and to exhibit.

This is the first website to display Huang's work that will also offer the opportunity to purchase both original artworks and prints. However, please note that the first works in these online galleries feature items in her one-woman exhibition “Exquisite Blooms,” showing from May 1 until August 31, 2017, at the Helen Crocker Russell Library of Horticulture at the San Francisco Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park. During the period of this exhibition you must buy her original artworks and prints from the Russell Library — but if you need any assistance in making such a purchase, please feel free to contact us. A portion of all purchases from “Exquisite Blooms” benefits this treasured library.

Over time we will add more original artworks and prints to JannyHuang.com, which in many cases you will be able to purchase either framed or unframed. Framing with archival matting is done in-house by professional framer and fellow artist Joseph Yan. Many custom framing options will be available; for information on such options, please contact us.
