San Francisco Botanical Gardens show opens

Janny Xiaoqin Huang's latest exhibition, “Exquisite Blooms,” opens May 1, 2017 at the Helen Crocker Russell Library of Horticulture at the San Francisco Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park.

Huang's one-woman show of floral works takes place in the remarkably comprehensive library of one of the world’s greatest public gardens. The show features twenty “small works” — floral portraits painted on Japanese gold board — and eleven other works, including five large paintings of magnolias Janny found in the Botanical Gardens.

Please visit the Russell Library from May through August of 2017, and experience a garden of classical Chinese brush paintings from a contemporary brush.

During the period of this exhibition you must buy the original artworks and prints featured in "Exquisite Blooms" and on this website from the Russell Library — but if you need any assistance in making such a purchase, please feel free to contact us. A portion of all such purchases benefits this treasured library.
